Criminal Defence Service
Our Criminal Defence team deals with a wide range of criminal cases from minor road traffic matters to murder. We handle matters at Police Stations, Magistrates Courts, Crown Courts, Court of Appeal and European Courts of Justice.
Advice on eligibility for Legal Aid will be provided for matters at Courts.
Where legal Aid is not available, our fees are as follows:
- Guilty plea to a straightforward case at Worthing Magistrates Court: £200.00 + VAT = £235.00, and any other Sussex Court: £250 + VAT = £293.75
- Guilty plea to a straightforward case in any other UK court (an agent may be instructed): £300.00 + VAT = £352.50
- Straightforward half-day trial on a not guilty plea: £500.00 + VAT + Disbursements
- Straightforward full-day trial on a not guilty plea: £750.00 + VAT + Disbursements
